HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!!

I just couldn't wait to get all of the pictures from Ethan's birthday party on here.  It was the first time he was able to have his party on his actual birthday, and I think it was a big success!  It was also the very first party in our new home, which I thought was fair since Tommy took those honors in our first house :)  It was so nice to just have a really good time with a lot of friends and family around to help us celebrate.  Several of our "usuals" weren't able to make it this time, and we missed every single one of you!  So, without further ado, here's a look at Ethan's Toy Story birthday party!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!

We missed Laura and Nolan at this party, but special thanks to LoLo for designing these cute graphic signs before they went out of town!

Toys will be toys, and boys will be boys--thank God!

Some of the kids' table toys--got all of my loot at the last consignment sale!

Super fun favor buckets with a coloring book/crayon/sticker party pack, a Toy Story water bottle, a sheriff's badge, a Toy story themed party blow toy and paddle & ball, and Toy story tattoos, bubbles, and more crayons ALL in a Toy Story bucket!

Thanks for watching the boys the day before the party as usual Mom so we could get everything done!

The cake table!

I LOVED the Toy Story vinyl characters decorating my walls--I seriously hated taking them down!

"You've Got a Friend In Me!!"

"Ride like the wind, Bullseye!"

My little guy is 3 :)

The look from the living room
Here's a look at all the party food!!

Davey did an awesome job helping me with this party in Laura's absence!  One of my favorite parts were the army men he hung up to scope out the party!

I love how these cupcake toppers turned out too!

Yay Ethy!

I came up with this idea really last minute, and I was so psyched that people understood what I was going for--Andy/Ethan's sandbox full of toys!
One of first arrivals, my biggest fan Caleb--immediately went to the table to ask for some food!

Meanwhile, Tommy decided to warm things up in the pool :)

Ethan heading for the slide

Hi Eleanor!!

Aunt Becky blowing some bubbles for the kiddos

Ethan and Caleb taking a little BP :)

Tyler showing the boys how it's done!

I loved holding little 2 week old Leah....

but, it's a good thing pictures aren't audible, because I'm not so sure she loved me holding her!

What can you expect from a honey badger?!

Grandmother looked pretty and matched the colorful theme!

Brother and Sister, Colin & Olivia, hanging close to each other <3

Daddy and Tommy playing on the slip-n-slide!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ETHAN!!

Caleb was focused on blowing those bubbles!

I hope these two guys end up being great friends!

Papa and Mrs. Humphrey :)

Thanks for letting us borrow your table Becky/Natalie!!

The "anti-socials" socializing with each other :)

The proud parents of Olivia and Colin, Seth & Ashley!

Little Caleb's big plate--I think I'm going to write a children's book with that title!

Hangin' by the pools!

My birthday boy sporting his new Buzz & Woody shirt :)

I was so happy my "Sunnyside Daycare" kids table worked out!!

Eleanor and her big guy :)

Okay, how stinkin' adorable is this kid?!?!  We loved having you over Tyler!

I loved seeing everyone gathered at and around the table <3

Natalie and Becky--twinsies!

Marcia being a great sport and posing as "Hamm" using one of our photo props!

Maybe a sequel is in order?!

Speaking of sequels...here's Caleb's little sister, Leah :)

My friend, Meredith, and her son Tyler

I love seeing everyone's smiles

Little Colin--my chunk-a-monk is hardly chunky anymore!

Time for cake big guy!

Hehe, Ethan singing to himself along with the crowd!

Way to go buddy!

As you can hear in the video, Ethan's favorite toy in his sandbox was "Big Baby"...hmmm, maybe a new nickname for E (haha, that one was for you Nolan!)

Ethy loved his cake--woohooo!!

However, he didn't love the icing on his fingers....

.....sooooo....

FROSTED TIPS!!

Ethan enjoying all his birthday party had to offer!

Slinky dog was a hit!

Amy trying so hard to get a pic with the bday boy...

at least you look good!!

Nice effort, Amy!

Hey, this is Toy Story, not "Up"!

Ethan playing with some of his birthday presents :)

Leah had so much fun, she just didn't want to leave!

A special thanks to my parents for breaking down all of the outside toys before the rain and for washing all of the dishes for me--what a HUGE help!!  We decided to leave all of the party decor and toys up all weekend, and I have to admit that I kind of miss it being up now!  Toy Story is just so fun--it's hard not to have a smile on your face when you're surrounded by Woody and the Gang!  We had one last special treat for the boys though to finish up Ethan's birthday celebration--off to the movies to watch MONSTERS U!  It was really cute, and I think the current front-runner for Tommy's 5th birthday (wow...5...I need a minute)!

Daddy and the birthday boy

Tommy did great the whole time, armed with A LOT of goldfish :)

haha, I had to try to get in one picture--Tommy was tired of the paparazzi!

Haha, look how tired this poor kid is--this was BEFORE the movie...thankfully, he did a really good job  :)

They thought they were really playing...

who are we to correct them?!

I have an unusual love of photo booths...this was like the smallest one ever--love the silly pictures though!

I was so mad the theater didn't have the Monster's U "college ID" card photo shoot area like most of them, so here was my lame attempt!

Hahahahaha...Ethan was SOOOO tired, but he didn't want to give up!

About 5 minutes into the drive...

They still (and, probably always will to me) look so sweet while they're sleeping

Happy Birthday Ethan William Catchings <3

As you can see, it was a really fun third birthday for my little Ethy-bear!  We did something a little different this time with pictures--which, I'm still not sure I won't change :)  We decided to take pictures in between both of the boys' birthdays, since they're only 3 months apart.  That said, I'm not sure if I can do it--I want Ethan to have some special pics too!  Anyway, I figured it was a perfect way to end this post.  I'm so thankful for my beautiful family <3 <3 <3

Not loving me in this at all, but the boys look so good!

He is so sweet!!

He's sweet too, but also pretty sly ;)

I love these next 3 pictures...my sweet, sweet Tommy <3

Haha, this is about right!!

One of my FAVORITE pictures ever...this one will be displayed in a prominent location soon!

My handsome big boy <3

Tommy LOVED those flowers 0_0

My boys <3

Haha, honey badger didn't care about the flowers--love this one too!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHYBEAR!!
